This is this kind of protein bar I wouldn’t want to have again. Even for free. Although it has excellent macros, it’s simply disgusting. Unless you like strong bitterness in your (protein) treats.

There are not many protein snacks I would definitely say ‘it’s disgusting’ about. Like Filled Protein Cookie from MyProtein to name the lastest I reviewed. If you expect any kind of pleasant and exciting smell of this protein bar… Well, you won’t find anything like that here. Chocolate? Hazelnut? Nice try. Instead of that, there’s a robust bitterish whiff here. And that’s it, nothing else. And don’t ask me why or how, I have no idea! Anyway, a quite tough on the outside, this protein bar is softish on the inside. That means you’ll have to use your teeth a bit to bite into it. Also, this treat is a bit chewy and somewhat sticky. Therefore, a sip may come in handy while eating eat.

Not the best taste, to put it really, really mildly.

This Women’s Best bar is not the best in its taste. It’s not even OK. It’s simply disgusting. The only aroma you’ll find in it is the aroma of soy protein. It’s bitterish, not tasty at all and there are no other flavours in it. Chocolate? Nope. Hazelnut? Nope. Any excitement? Well, I think I’m too optimistic about this bar. In other words, this protein bar is simply disgusting. And if it had to be my only snack on any given day… Oh, dear.

I ate an entire Women’s Best protein bar and I start regretting I did that. Seriously. On the other hand, it’s good to know what you should stay away from for 200%.

Women's Best Protein Bar 34% Protein Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Flavour

Is this protein totally miserable at all? It’s not, actually. What I really liked about it is its macros. A 44g bar has only 158 kcal, 6.3g of fat, extremely low 4.8g of carbs (of which only 1,1g of sugar!) and not that bad 15g of protein. The ingredients list is not that perfect, though, as there’s palm oil in it.

Palm oil among the ingredients means it can’t be the finest protein bar on the go. And it’s not.

Stay away from this protein bar. It’s not Women’s Best protein anything.
