This protein bar comes from the USA Canada. And it looks like people there have a different sense of smell and flavour. Otherwise, how to call the other way a bar that smells like a blend of pain and glue and it tastes bitterish?

I don’t say this protein bar can’t be good. It surely can. At least when you put it into your flavourish porridge oat and pour chocolate syrup on it. Otherwise, this protein bar is nothing I’d want to indulge in again. All right, that’s enough spoiler for the beginning. Let’s have a look why I’m not the greatest fan of this the very first SNAP Crispy Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter in our reviews.

I don’t get it. Many protein snacks from the USA, or rather (right now) North America, smells just terrible. It’s enough to mention such extraordinary cases of Sinfit Peanut Butter protein cookie or MP Combat Cookies & Cream protein bar. Both are coming from the US. Anyway, this SNAP! protein bar is coming from Canada and… it also smells, well, a bit weird. It resembles a combination of pain and glue smells. No, don’t ask me how it’s possible. I have no idea. Anyway, a pretty toughish on the outside, this protein bar is crispy and softish on the inside. Therefore, it’s not too troublesome to bite into it. This crispy snack is not chewy at all and it’s only slightly sticky. However, at the same time, it’s a bit dry.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bitter flavour. That’s what it is.

This SNAP! protein bar has a pretty nice flavour of chocolate peanut butter. It’s easily detectable and it’s pretty nice in its taste. However, there’s also easily detectable bitter aroma in it that appears somewhere in the middle of eating this bar. It somewhat intense and it’s getting deeper while keep on eating this snack. That affects the overall flavour experience significantly. Other than that, this protein bar is just sweetish, but it’s not a satisfying one.

Do I want another serving of this SNAP Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour protein bar after the first one? Not at all. Even as an addition to my porridge oats with chocolate syrup.

SNAP! Crispy Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter

From the perspective of macros this bar, surprisingly, is not too bad. A 46g snack has only 180 kcal, 9g of fat, 17g of carbs (including 4g of sugar) and slightly modest 15g of protein. Considering it’s coming from the US Canada it’s pretty good. The ingredients list, however, can’t be justified by its origin. It contains palm oil and invert syrup. And it’s not good.

Therefore, there’s no change the title of the finest protein bar on the go will go to this snack.

Ooh, S***! What a mistake.

SNAP! Crispy Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter

This SNAP! Crispy Protein Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour is some kind of mystery. It’s coming from North America, but it has pretty OK-ish macros. On the other hand, it tries to spread the love to paint-ish and glue-ish smell to the European ground. But to no avail. I don’t buy it. And this and its overall flavour is not that bad reason for you to do the same.

Will I ever go back to this SNAP! protein bar? Oh, Snap! I think I won’t. No, sorry, my bad. I’m sure I will not.
