This is a surprisingly good protein cookie from Sinister Labs. But if I had to make any changes in it, I’d find this and that that could be slightly better than it is.
It’s nothing personal, but it’s hard to be the greatest fan of Sinfit protein cookies. Our reviews of them say it all. Two of them, Peanut Butter and Birthday Cake flavours, didn’t even score 5/10 pts. And Chocolate Chip Cookie scored not much more than that, 5.3/10 pts. However, Snickerdoodle Chocolate Chip made it much better, scoring not too bad 6/10 pts.
This protein cookie is not too fragrant. It has a smell of cinnamon and a bit of sweetness. It’s not too bad, but I’m pretty far from saying it’s appetising or inviting. It’s just OK. A decently tough on the outside, this protein cookie is surprisingly soft inside. It means there should be no problem with biting into it at all. A barely chewy cookie is only slightly sticky. It’s also a bit thick and seems to be kind of damp inside but still, it’s comfortable to eat. And it may happen you won’t need a sip while eating it.
Not too sinful when it comes to its taste.
This protein cookie is not bad in its taste. The Snickerdoodle flavour is easily detectable and it’s pretty pleasant. And it has a significant cinnamon aroma. It’s also pretty sweet and it may make its way as a sweet protein treat. The only thing I’m not so convinced to is that glossy coating that Kaz describes as resembling a kind of thin plastic coating. Anyway, personally, I don’t mind it.
Do I want another serving of this Sinfit protein cookie after the first one? Surprisingly, but I do. It’s pretty OK in its taste and I’d eat another half of it, at least.
What is pretty disturbing in this cookie is its macros. A 78g cookie has pretty largish 305 kcal, 12g of fat, exaggerated 35g of carbs (including only 7g of sugar) and an OK 20g of protein. The ingredients list is also not too impressive as it contains added sugar and palm oil.
This means it can’t be the finest protein cookie on the go.
Not that bad cookie, but still it could be much better in this and that.
Sinfit Protein Cookie Snickerdoodle Chocolate Chip Cookie turned out to be pretty OK after all. It’s easy to eat, it’s pretty sweet and satisfying and I could eat more than one of it in one sitting. However, it has a bit exaggerated macros and the ingredients list could be much better. If they were, it could be a pretty lovely and decently good protein cookie. But it’s not, unfortunately.
Will I ever go back to this protein cookie? With its 305 kcal per serving, I don’t think it will happen. Unless I have nothing else to eat and a need to increase my calorie intake pretty fast and in a pretty tasty way. But in this case this lovely Pumpkin Spice Cookie from Sinfit range may be not worse choice either. Still, much better than this Quest cookie of the same flavour.
