That combination of flavours may catch your attention as well. And actually, there’s no reason to skip it for sure. It’s not perfect, obviously, but considering that flavour and macros it might be not a bad proteinish snack anytime.
This Multipower Protein Delight White Chocolate Tropical Flavour Protein Bar is the first one from this range we review. It’s somewhat distinguishable not only by its flavour but also by its salmon colour packaging. That’s pretty bold. Anyway, the most important question, for now, is: is this Protein Delight protein bar worth your attention at all? Well, it is – a bit.
Get ready to experience not too impressing aroma right after unwrapping it. There’s a bit of white chocolate and tropical whiff in it, but both are way too soft. Personally, I’d want to have them much more intense. Also, that combination of flavours is nothing I’d fell in love with. And I’m not too sure why. Hence, it’s not too inviting. Anyway, a decently toughish on the outside, this protein bar is softish on the inside. That means no significant issues with biting into it. Also, the bar is middling chewy and only a bit sticky. And it’s pretty moist too. In a word, not bad texture after all.
Interesting flavour composed in a not too exciting blend (but still not too bad, though)
White Chocolate and Tropical flavours. That sounds really interesting. However, I expected a bit more than I got. There’s a bit of tropical flavour in this bar. And a bit of white chocolate aroma too. However, that combination could be balanced much better. Also, what I missed here was the sweetness of this bar – it’s not too sweet neither tropical. The good thing is, however, there’s no weird aroma or aftertaste. But, eventually, I can’t say it’s satisfying in any way. And it’s not unsatisfying too. It sits somewhere in the middle.
Am I fancy another serving of this Multipower Protein Delight bar right after the first one? Not much. It was pretty tasty and refreshing in flavour, but it wasn’t anything to fell in love with.
From the macros point of view, it’s pretty good. The reason for that is, at 35g this bar is pretty tiny. A single serving delivers just 136 kcal, 6g of fat, 12g of carbs (of which only 1.3g of sugar) and pretty modest 12g of protein. Could be a bit better. And the same goes to the ingredients list that contains palm oil.
A pretty interesting flavour served in a middling exciting protein bar.
Multipower Protein Delight White Chocolate Tropical Flavour Protein Bar may catch your attention. And there are some reasons for that. Like pretty nice flavour (but not too spectacular), ease of eating or really lean macros. Also, the overall experience is pretty nice. And if palm oil is nothing you care about, then feel free to give it a try.
Will I ever go back to this Multipower Protein Delight bar? I’m not too sure about it. It’s not a bad protein bar for sure. But I missed intensity in its flavour. And I didn’t like the palm oil in ingredients.
P.S. Still, there’s a pretty nice flavour from this range, though. It’s Dark Chocolate Mocha. It also contains palm oil, sadly, but it’s well worth to give it a try anyway.
