I thought I would never see it again. But I do. Acesulfame K in the ingredients list. And it means one thing for me – to stay away from this proteinish bar. And that’s what you should do, too. By the way, that’s not the only reason to do so.

Why do I stigmatize Acesulfame K? Because I’m allowed to do that. All right, jokes aside. Among all ingredients that are available for protein bar makers, some of them, for some reason, choose to use Acesulfame K. And this is not the best choice for sure. That’s what Scitec Nutrition does with their CHOCO PRO range. And Barebells with their protein bars as well. And this is what Multipower does here as well in this Multipower 40% High Protein Fit Chocolate Almond Flavour. That’s why I say ‘skip it’. But it’s OK if you will not skeep reading this review, though.

A bit of chocolate and almond whiff is all that you’ll get in the smell of this protein bar. It’s not too fragrant or aromatic for sure. And it’s nothing inviting too. Anyway, a slightly softish on the outside, this protein bar is nearly soft on the inside. Also, it’s just a bit chewy and sticky. And it’s pretty moist. In a word, not much to complain about the texture of this Multipower proteinish bar.

Not too flavourish, not too exciting. But a bit protein-ish, though.

What can I say more? This proteinish bar is not too flavourish. Yes, there’s a bit of chocolate and almond flavour in it. But they’re both not too intense either exciting. They’re just there. And although there’s no weird aroma or aftertaste, it’s still middling appealing, to say the most. Hence, no too satisfying.

Macro wise, it’s not too bad. A tiny bar of 35g only provides 146 kcal, 5.9g of fat, 8.4g of carbs (including only 0.7g of sugar) and an OK-sh 14g of protein. Not too bad, it’s a light-weight bar after all. However, the ingredients list is quite shocking, as it contains Acesulfame K and palm oil.

A tiny protein bar that could be non-existent.

Multipower 40% High Protein Bar Chocolate Almond Flavour

I’m sorry, Multipower 40% High Protein Fit Chocolate Almond Flavour Protein Bar. You’re not necessary at all. With that not-so-exciting taste and Acesulfame K in ingredients, you have nothing to do here. And I could poke you with some more sticks, but… naaah. Go away.

Will I ever go back to this Multipower proteinish bar? I will NOT. Just nope. Say ‘thank you’ to your inferior ingredients. And so-so taste.
