Well, this Fulfil protein bar makes a Cookie & Cream flavour bad PR. A terrible one. All of that, because it’s nothing like that. And even if you’re a great fan of this flavour, then there’s nothing for you here. Unless you’re after pretty good macros. And ingredients.
Hey, it’s not too bad. We’ve already reviewed seven different flavours of Fulfil protein bars. I thought it was much less than that, that’s strange. Anyway, how to say it politely? None of them turned out to be a spectacular one. The highest overall score? 6.7/10pts for Chocolate Orange, Chocolate Hazelnut Whip and Chocolate Caramel & Cookie Dough. Hmm, could be much better, I guess. And it looks like this Fulfil Cookies & Cream Vitamin & Protein Bar won’t change that situation at all.
Cookies & Cream and pea protein? Well, that doesn’t sound like a perfect match. But this is what we get in the aroma of this protein bar. It’s not it’s terrible, but it’s not too inviting though. Primarily, this snack is decently tough on the outside and only somewhat softish on the inside. But before you get there, you need to bite into it. And for some, it might be not too comfortable. I mean, is a bit too tough. The good news? It’s not chewy at all and it’s only middling sticky. And pretty moist (but not too much). In a word, it could be much better than it is.
Hello? Cookies & Cream flavour? Where are you?
Disappointing. This protein bar is disappointing. Not only if Cookies & Cream is your cup of tea. You won’t find that flavour in this protein bar. And I have no idea why. Instead of that, you’ll detect easily dark chocolate flavour and a bit of vanilla. And, of course, pea protein. It’s not hard to guess that the combination of flavours is not a delicacy. Also, it’s not sweet at all. Therefore, not satisfying.
Do I want another serving of this Fulfil Cookies & Cream protein bar straight after the first one? Not at all. It’s not too tasty, not too sweet, and it’s not too comfortable to eat.
When it comes to macros, as always – Fulfil protein bars are really good in that. A 55g bar only has 208 kcal, 9.3g of fat, 8.2g of carbs (including only 1.9g of sugar) and 20g of protein. And 11.4g of fibre. WOW. The ingredients list is free from added sugar, palm fat or syrups. But it contains nine vitamins and minerals that cover 100% of your daily intake for them. Nice.
Still, considering the mediocre flavour of this protein bar, it can’t be the finest protein bar on the go.
Give me my Cookies & Cream flavour back!
Fulfil Cookies & Cream Vitamin & Protein Bar has nothing to do with this flavour. It doesn’t taste like it at all! Also, it’s not too comfortable to eat. And its really good macros and ingredients might be the reason for some to grab be. Maybe. But not for me.
Will I ever go back to this Fulfil protein bar? I won’t. For the reasons I mentioned above. And it looks like it won’t be easy do find a decently good Cookies & Cream protein bar, as there are some other not too exciting bars of this flavour.
