This is a pretty big protein cookie. With loads of protein in it. And considering its not bad flavour, it might be not a bad option for some. But still, I wouldn’t be overly excited about it here.

This is another Active protein cookie from Bulk Powders. The other one, Chocolate Orange, was not a bad one. At least in taste, as its ingredients were… well, let’s stop here. Anyway, this Active Foods White Chocolate & Raspberry flavour from the same range is a pretty similar one – high in calorie, medium in taste and low in (quality) ingredients. Too bad, as it has some potential for sure.

A quick procedure of unwrapping this protein cookie reveals this. It has a mediocre smell with a touch of white chocolate and significant bitterness whiff. A pretty thick snack is softish on the outside, being soft on the inside. Also, it’s only a bit chewy and not much sticky. And considering its really good moistness, it’s decently comfortable to eat. Hence, no worries when it comes to the pre-eating experience in it.

Good in theory, not perfect in practice.

It’s a bit weird when it comes to the flavour of this protein cookie. There are white chocolate and raspberry aromas somewhat detectable in this cookie. However, these are not too intense. And everything would be pretty good here if there was not a chilly touch in it. It’s most likely caused by sweeteners used to make this protein cookie. Is it bad? Not that much, as it doesn’t make much mess here. Besides that, there’s no weird aroma or aftertaste. Overall, this flavour is pretty OK, but it lacks intensity and sweetness a bit. And eventually, it’s not a satisfying one.

Do I want another serving of this Active Foods protein cookie right after the first one? Not actually. It wasn’t bad for sure, but I missed something more significant in the experience of it.

Active Foods White Chocolate & Raspberry High Protein Cookie

Macro wise it’s pretty much OK-ish. A 75g cookie has 290 kcal, 8.3g of fat, 24.9g of carbs (including 5.4g of sugar) and a decent amount of 27.8g of protein. On the other hand, the ingredients list is poor and it contains added sugar, palm oil and fructose-glucose syrup.

Therefore, it can’t be the finest protein cookie on the go.

Not bad, but not too extraordinary.

Will I ever go back to this Active Foods protein cookie? I don’t think so. It’s not that bad, but I think I can find something better than that. Or that. Or that.
